πŸ‘Ά

0 to 3 months

The fourth trimester. Eat, sleep, cry, repeat. You are not getting it wrong, this is exactly the chaos it is meant to be.

🧸

4 to 6 months

She is becoming a little person. Laughing, rolling, grabbing your hair, recognizing the people who love her.

πŸ“

7 to 9 months

Suddenly she is moving. Sitting, pulling up, crawling. Solid food enters the picture and so does the mess.

🚢

10 to 12 months

First birthday is in sight. First words, first steps, first opinions. Hold on tight.

πŸŽ’

13 to 18 months

Walking, climbing, and starting to test every limit you set. This is the age of "I do it myself".

πŸ¦–

19 to 24 months

Two-year-old territory. The world is no, mine, again, and meltdown. Then a hug and a giggle.

🎨

2 to 3 years

Big jumps in talking, imagination, and independence. Also peak tantrums. You will hear "no" a thousand times.

πŸƒ

3 to 4 years

A real little person. She has friends, opinions, jokes, and a strong sense of fairness. The why phase begins.

✏️

4 to 5 years

Pre-school confidence. She wants to do everything herself, knows the rules, and will tell you when you are breaking them.

Every child develops at their own pace. The lists in this tracker are general guidance based on common developmental ranges, not a checklist your child has to complete. If something concerns you, talk to your pediatrician. They are your best partner in this.

This tool is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a real developmental screening. It is here to help you know what is normal, what to watch for, and what to ask about at your next visit.

Common milestone questions

Most babies take their first steps between 9 and 12 months and are walking well by 14 to 15 months. Some babies start as early as 8 months or as late as 18 months and that is still within the normal range.
